Duende is the Spanish term for a heightened state of emotion, expression, and authenticity: the moment in a performance when something else takes over.

Duende Collective is the project of writer, artist, and producer Chad Baldwin. The 14-track debut album, Relámpagos — Spanish for "lightning" — is deep house rooted in soul, jazz, hip-hop, and R&B. Its grooves drift between late-night cityscapes, West Coast postcards, loss, longing, and return.

"Duende" Every song was written, recorded, and produced by Baldwin, then further produced and mastered using AI — a hand-made record with a machine finish.

Relámpagos is the new album, released on 1024 Productions.
